Introducing Lunaseed

June 24, 2026·News

Today, we announce Lunaseed, the due diligence infrastructure for venture firms.

We help venture firms reach IC faster, reduce diligence cost and friction, surface risk earlier, and make higher-conviction investment decisions backed by a source-level record.

The Market Has Outgrown the Data Room

A generation ago, venture diligence moved from physical filing cabinets to digital data rooms. That shift changed how investors accessed documents, but it did not change how firms validated truth.

For decades, venture diligence has relied on a fragile compromise: collect the documents, organize the folder, and manually reconstruct the company from static evidence.

That was enough when company evidence moved slowly. It is not enough anymore.

Companies are now created, funded, and scaled faster than ever. Their truth lives across live systems, operating data, contracts, financial records, customer activity, code repositories, and management claims. Yet investment teams are still forced to underwrite high-stakes decisions through static data rooms, self-reported spreadsheets, passive PDFs, and weeks of manual reconciliation.

Access to information is not the same as verified clarity.

The real problem in venture diligence is no longer the absence of files. It is the absence of validated structure: no clear evidence hierarchy, no cross-pillar reconciliation, and no living record of what is supported, what is missing, and what conflicts.

That leaves firms with a broken tradeoff: move slowly with expensive manual review, or move fast with unresolved risk.

From Fragmented Data to Verified Conviction

Our mission is to build the validation infrastructure for venture firms — a system where every material claim, document, and operating signal can be tested against the evidence behind it before capital is committed.

Not another data room. Not another AI summarizer. A verified record that shows what is supported, what is missing, and what conflicts.

At the core of Lunaseed is Veris, our validation engine. Veris brings live systems of record, uploaded data rooms, founder submissions, and operating evidence into a single structured layer. It then validates those inputs through a clear evidence hierarchy: live system data carries more authority than static documents, and documents carry more authority than self-reported management claims.

From this foundation, Veris applies stage-specific diligence logic to produce six IC-ready reports spanning legal, financial, business, technical, compliance, and cross-pillar synthesis. Every finding is severity-ranked, source-linked, and traceable to the raw evidence behind it.

Once Veris establishes the verified record, Carter turns it into a dynamic decision layer for IC. Carter does not produce generic summaries from a folder; it reasons from the company's validated evidence. Investment teams can interrogate findings, cross-reference live metrics against uploaded materials, stress-test core assumptions, surface risks buried in siloed review, and prepare investment materials grounded in the source record.

This is the shift: diligence no longer ends as a folder or a static report. It becomes a verified investment record the firm can interrogate before capital is committed.
